I love marble paintings from India, with beauty full jewellery designs on it. As we don't get marbles here, I thought of painting same on glass. Then I had these old frames from Ikea with thick plastic glass, which are unbreakable, light weight and transparent and of less price :) It is always good to try all your craft on inexpensive things, so that you won't regret much if it goes wrong.
For this project you just need glass with frame , some glass paints, along with golden 3d glass liner and some stones to decorate. I used my tanjore stones to decorate it.
So, here is my glass painting of a beauty full jhumka. I did some gold painting on the frame too.
